Seeking for National individual short-term Consultant to conduct: capacity need assessment Provide and capacity building;

Background:

The National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development Secretariat (NCDDS) has received grant from the Governments of Germany, New Zealand, Sweden and Switzerland through the and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) to implement the project on EmPower: Woman for Climate-Resilient Societies Phase II for 24 months starting from July 2024 to May 2026.

The Empower Phase II aims to leveraging a variety of tools, methodologies, and data to implement existing plans and policies for gender-responsive, human rights-based climate action. The programme is expanding the scope for women and other marginalized and gender-diverse groups to shape decisions and build resilience, including through access to finance, technology and renewable energy as a driver of better livelihoods.

To achieve the intended purpose, NCDDS is seeking for a National individual short-term Consultant for support the carry out of capacity need assessment and demonstration of increased knowledge and skills on gender integration in climate change policies and programmes. The interested consultants are allowed to participate in the competing process and will be selected in accordance with method of Individual Consultant Selection set forth in the NCDDS procurement procedure.

The interested consultants are kindly requested to provide their cover letter, updated curriculum vitae with recent photo, indicating their personal and technical skills, academic qualifications and experiences in similar assignments along with the names of three (3) referees with contact information (title, e-mail, and telephone).
