JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The project is led by National Council for Sustainable Development; National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development Secretariat (NCDDS); Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Mine and Energy funded by the Sida and UNDP. The project official title is “Building an Enabling Environment for Sustainable Development”. A short project name is BESD: The project aims to assist Cambodia in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals related to: Natural Resources management (NRM), Circular economy (mainly on waste management) and Solar energy. In order to achieve its aim, the project works in three output areas: Output 1: CBNRM Institutions strengthened and financial resources mobilized for sustainable NRMs; Output 2: Waste reduced, recycled and reused through application of circular economy models; Output 3: Improved access to clean, affordable, and sustainable energy for the rural poor. The project is implemented in Cambodia. The project duration is July 2019 – December 2020.
The National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development (NCDD) was established by Royal Decree under the Organic Law of 2008, to implement the Government’s Democratic Development policy as set out in the law; to develop a The National Programme for Sub-National Democratic Development 2010 – 2019 (NP-SNDD).

The NCDD Secretariat is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
